Paspalum conjugatum Berg (jukut pait/jampang), Commelina nudiflora L (tali korang/gewor), Salvinia molesta D.S. Mitchell (kiambang/ganggang), and Monochoria vaginalis (Burm.f.) Presl (eceng leutik) are the useless wild plants so far. However, based on a phytoremediation research, these plants are potential as a hyperaccumulator plants particularly for mercury polluted area. A phenological study has been done at Bogor Botanic Gardens on March, 16th to May, 13th. The results show that the plants have a fast growth. In a average, the highest delta biomass of plants are achieved at 5th or 6th week after planted that are 431.63 gr/m2 for P. conjugatum, 399.69 gr/m2 for C. nudiflora, and 977.86 gr/m2 for M. vaginalis. While biomass and covering area of S. molesta grow more than 400% in 2 weeks after planted, which the highest delta biomass is 1.26 kg/m2.
