Producer of fertilizer mandatory to carry out fertilizer effectiveness tests before their products were marketed, because the results of fertilizer effectiveness tests was determined by the Ministry of Agriculture to protect consumers from adverse impacts due to the use of fertilizer. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of NPK compound (15-15-6) fertilizer to improve maize performance. The study was conducted Keling Village, Kepung Subdistrict,Kediri Regency, East Java Province, since January - April 2019. The study used RBD with 6treatments and 4 replications, namely A = control, B = SFD, C = 300 kg Urea ha-1 + 50 kg SP36 ha-1 + 200 kg NPK 15-15-6 ha-1, D = 300 kg Urea ha-1 + 50 kg SP-36 ha-1 + 300 kg NPK 15-15-6 ha-1, E = 250 Urea ha-1 + 400 kg NPK 15-15-6 ha-1, and F = 200 Urea ha-1 + 500 kg NPK 15-15-6 ha-1. The results showed that treatment F obtained of 8.35 t.ha-1, R/C-ratio 2,65, RAE value 137.38%, and the profite farming IDR. 21,850,000 per hectare. (2024-05-13)

Kajian penggunaan pupuk tunggal NPK dan pupuk kandang dilaksanakan di Kabupaten SeramBagian Barat pada tahun 2009. Percobaan disusun berdasarkan rancangan acak kelompok dengantiga ulangan. Pengkajian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk tunggal NPK dan pupuk kan-dang terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil dari tiga varietas jagung. Petak kajian berukuran 15 m x 16 m,jarak tanam 75 cm x 40 cm, 2 tanaman/lubang. Dosis pupuk yang digunakan adalah 300 kg Urea,200 kg SP-36, 50 kg KCl, dan 2 t pupuk kandang/ha. Varietas yang ditanam adalah Bima-3 Bantimu-rung, Srikandi Kuning, dan Bisi-2. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa varietas Srikandi Kuning danBima-3 Bantimurung cukup toleran terhadap cekaman lingkungan (kekeringan). Penggunaan pupuktunggal NPK yang dikombinasikan dengan pupuk kandang memberikan rata-rata hasil jagung lebihtinggi dari rata-rata hasil jagung nasional dan hasil jagung di Maluku. Varietas hibrida Bima-3 Ban-timurung memberikan rata-rata hasil pipilan kering tertinggi (8,71 t/ha), menyusul Srikandi Kuning(6,42 t/ha), dan Bisi-2 (4,50 t/ha). Pengembangan Bima 3 Bantimurung sangat potensial diintegrasi-kan dengan ternak karena tanaman tetap hijau sampai panen dan mempunyai biomas yang cukuptinggi, sedangkan Srikandi Kuning sangat sesuai untuk dikonsumsi karena mempunyai kandungan protein tinggi. doi: 10.1088 https://iopscience.iop.org/issue/1755-1315/1338/1
