The hardness of titanium alloy influenced by several mechanism such as, solid solution stengthening, high dislocation density, boundary hardening, and precipitation hardening. The thermomechanical treatment of α + β titanium aloy influenced by the temperature of thermomechanical treatment (β transus temperature). In present study the influence of hot rolling process on microstructure and hardness of Ti-6Al-6Nb alloy has been studied. As cast Ti-6Al-6Nb homogenized at 1100 °C and followed by hot rolling at various temperature (900, 1000, 1100 °C). The final Ti-6Al-6Nb plate characterized by optical microscope and microhardness test. The study revealed that hot rolling at 1000 °C has lowest hardness and rolling at 900 °C has highest hardness value.
