Description
    Suweg (Amorphophallus paeoniifolius) belongs to the Araceae family. This species has a tremendous potential to be developed as food material. From its tubers suweg can be processed into varioes food such as 'onde amor ketawa', 'cheese stick amor', 'peyek amor' and other variety. In addition, this tubers are also potentioal as functional food because it has alow Glycemic Index. Propagation of suweg can be done in various ways, both in the conventional as well as using tissue culture techniques
