Surface sediment were collected from 13 sites from Semarang Waters on August 2010. The aim of this study was to know distribution and geochemistry metals concentration in sediment in this area. Methods for metals analysis using destruction sediment with mixed of nitric acid-chloric acid, and metals in sediment fraction using simultaneous extraction procedure and then determine with flame AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry). The result showed that average metals concentration for Pb and Zn have been over from average crust. Prosentation of the labile faction (Easy Reducible and Reducible fraction) for Cd, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn are 42.4 persen, 0.4 persen, 10.8 persen, 7.0 persen and 11.4 persen while prosentasi for non labil fraction (Organic phase dan Residual fraction) 57.6 persen, 99.6 persen, 89.2 persen, 93.0 persen, 88.6 persen. This result explained that metals in sediment bounded in different fraction with different bounded. According to Risk Assessment Criteria (RAC), Cd in medium to high risk condition, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn in no risk condition for aquatic waters.
