Organic farming and the application of Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) produce safety food and make positive impact to the environment. Organic industry is the pastest growing segment of US agriculture since 1990. Certified organic farmer and producers are required to use an integrated package of management practices includes to apply only the minimal and low toxic solutions to pest problems and when tretment is necessary to only use ornagically approved products. Organic pesticide is still the most constrain on the production of organic food. Exploration on the traditional knowledge will provide information to the next development of organic pesticide production. The Dayak people in Kalimantan- Indonesia have been apply of their good traditionally agricultural practice and knowledge to produce their "organic" rice. Observation and interview have been made to know their knowledge on the application and use of local plant diversity as organic pesticide. They has been use several species of local plant such as: Hoya latifolia (Apocynaceae:Asclepiadoideae), Piper porphyrophyllum (Piperaceae), Bambusa spp (Poaceae) and "topus apentimang" (Etlingera brevilabrum - Zingiberaceae) on their rice farming as biopesticide. Practical uses and further development overview of these organic pesticide explained and discussed in the paper.
